Finished Projects
Y&G Advertising:
Last year Jenny Jensen, Sterling Lentz, and myself volunteered in an Ad Society meeting to work with a Portland based magazine that at the time was called “Clutch”. We had never really known each other before this project that went to press eventually as “Button”. Slowly, Ad Society began to evolve into our group of three as we expanded to working on two other accounts. Soccer is Real Futbol and The Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Living were added as Ad Society was taken over by the three of us and renamed Y&G (yellow & gold) advertising. This experiment tried become a solid stepping stone for younger ad majors to Allen Hall Advertising and the major in general. At one time the agency counted 20 members. It lasted the entire 2008-2009 school year but was dissolved during that summer due to many factors. We made some good work as well as some work that lacked direction. Overall it got the three of us feeling like we were in the ad major. What started out as raising my hand become the stepping stone for me to Allen Hall Advertising and Ad Team.
