Welcome!
As the title says my name is Alex Orr. I’m a senior at the University of Oregon who is majoring in advertising while picking up a Norwegian minor (for kicks). Originally I bored myself by going through the steps to become a business major until I realized my mistake and chose advertising instead. In which direction I go with advertising is completely up in the air as of now, but I’m pretty sure that it lies somewhere in the account/media side of things. I have creative ideas but my hands just won’t follow my brain’s directions. This is why I like to currently title myself a Creative Strategist alongside many coming out of the U of O.
I’m an anglophile which means I’m interested in anything and everything that has to do with the United Kingdom. Which gives cause to one of my biggest passions, English Football. I direct an 850+ soccer fan club through the ASUO called Soccer Is Real Futbol and haven’t missed a Manchester United game this season (18 games and counting).
I like to say that I know a little about a lot and hopefully this will come to be an asset to me as I actively search for that first job out of school and beyond. This website is a reflection of my personality and my education up until now.
